It is amazing that a COGIC Bishop would want to pay for a woman to have an abortion and be a leader in a Holiness Church. Last I checked abortion is murder. How can this man run for the General Board with something like this hanging over his head and be foolish enough not to make some type of arrangements with the woman that is with child? There are only two meetings prior to the Holy Convocation so she is going to have to move fast if she plans to get something done.

IF . . . this is true, why would an adult female put this info out there for the public, especially knowing when she got involved that he was a MARRIED MAN? She should have known he was never leaving his wife to have a relationship of substance with her. What did she expect? She was an adulteress and was out of line for sleeping with him. However, something that was stated in the response that I read from her email was regarding this Bishop taking care of her and the baby. He is not responsible for “taking care” of her, only the baby. Which brings me to my next point, did this woman allow this to happen in order to extort money? I am asking myself, “is she the kind of woman who gets involved with men who have money in order to get ahead”? No matter how smooth a man talks, it is up to the woman to exercise good judgement and to know when to say no. All parties are wrong here. As for the comments on this page, it is unacceptable for Christians to use such filth and profanity when speaking or writing; it is not necessary in order to convey your thoughts. Saints, what has happened to us? To the pregnant woman, repent, go back to school and better yourself (take an English or writing course or two; if you do not have a degree, get one), seek your rights and obtain monetary support for your child. Then talk less and be quiet because what you have done is nothing to be proud of. God will forgive you, just move on and do what is right going forward in order to break a generational curse. The Grand ole Church has an ecceastical electoral process, when one chooses to take part in that process to lead 6.5 million people they should have their nose clean. This is the information age. Also, Beacuse the election is held for ecceastical heiarcy of the church those seeking that office should be spiritually mature and their life fit to hold such office. We all have made mistakes, fallen, and have struggles. But when u run to lead Bishops Pastors and Laymen of the largest Afro American Pentecostal organization int the world one should have their ct together. Drew Sheard. I had the privilege to speak with him today and know this is a vicious lie and attack of his character and integrity. As a former educator it is not just Reading, but Reading Comprehension that is critical. Never was it mentioned that the alleged father of the woman’s child was from Detroit.

It’s interesting that you have taken Bishop Sheard at his word (which is not being refuted in this point), yet you insist on questioning Bishop Morton’s and Bishop Hall’s character and integrity in the other “hot story” that you have posted. They have both publicly denied allegations of knowledge about the situation, as it is described in your blog, yet you insist that they did, at the word of a woman who has proven that she will bring down her perpetrator, regardless of who else is offended. It seems as though you have a bigger vendetta against them, than what would seem reasonable against the person who has a criminal case pending. In fact, you gave the person with the pending criminal case more benefit of doubt (stating, “in all fairness to Mr. Davis…” than you have Bishop Morton and Bishop Hall. The thing about these types of situations is TIME will revel all matters. Sounds like he didn’t believe that She was going to keep the baby, should’ve taken a clue from Noel Jones and just not responded. His creditibility was tarnished back when he was going to allow Kawame Kilpatrick to do a press conference from Greater Emmanuel’s pulpit to deny he was sleeping with Christine his chief of staff,(he did the press find from a office in the church) and when he had that convicted child molestor teaching a dance class against court orders( that was on the news). Putting popularity aside I don’t believe he has good judgement based on pass decisions to be a general board member. COGIC NEEDS TO DO BETTER IN SCREENING THESE PEOPLE FOR OFFICE.

Karen Sheard live their lives without all the made-up stories, I’ve observed them very closely and they have a wonderful relationship. Why can’t it just be what it is? They are a model couple and I hope they go all the way to the top. Thank God for the Sheards for sticking together in spite of this STUPID stuff.
